About Dialysis Scorecard

More than half a million Americans depend on dialysis, most of them three times a week for the rest of their lives or until a transplant. The center you choose matters, and quality varies more than most people realize. We built Dialysis Scorecard to make Medicare's public data on every dialysis center easy to find, compare and understand.

What we do

• List every Medicare-certified dialysis center in the United States, with address, phone, number of stations, evening shifts, home dialysis options and the company that runs it.
• Show each center's CMS star rating, outcome measures and patient survey results next to state and national averages.
• Add a single, transparent 0–100 score so you can compare centers quickly. How it works.
• Explain dialysis options, Medicare coverage and the quality data in plain English in our guides.

What we do not do

• We do not accept payment from dialysis providers for placement or ratings. Rankings are computed from data only.
• We do not provide medical advice. Talk to your nephrologist and care team about your situation.
• We do not collect user reviews at this time.

Corrections

Our data comes from CMS and can lag real-world changes. If you represent a dialysis center and something is wrong, contact us with the center's CMS Certification Number (CCN); we will check the current CMS release and correct our listing if it differs. Quality measures themselves can only be changed by CMS.

Dialysis Scorecard is free to use and supported by advertising. Ads are clearly labeled and never influence rankings.
